While exploring Typography, I completed an exercise by redesigning a published book in three different ways. Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi is about a coffee shop outside of natural time, so I based my designs on that premise and common things in a cafe, such as a newspaper or light through the window. I tried to explore a range of minimalism and maximalism while maintaining a strong typographic identity.
